We have lived the executive search industry for the past two decades, and we have seen it from every angle.
As search consultants, we worked closely together for nearly ten years at both Russell Reynolds Associates and Korn/Ferry International. As a “boutique” within the largest search firms in the world, we teamed up on some of the most meaningful recruitments in the industry.
We then went on similar but separate paths, leading the internal recruiting and talent management capabilities for market-leading global companies. We built and led teams of recruiters across the globe, continued to personally lead executive searches, and partnered with search firms, this time as clients. Assignments included division presidents, CFO, Directors, CMO, head of corporate development, CHRO, operating leaders, Chief Communication Officer, head of investor relations, CIO, regional presidents, etc.
We have also been candidates and understand the important role that clarity, transparency, candor, and respect play in candidate communications.
These experiences left us wanting a more intimate, simpler, more straightforward, and ultimately more successful and enjoyable approach to executive search and market intelligence services. A firm that would tell the truth, represent its clients impeccably, and win in the market place. Such an option didn’t exist, so we decided to create it. We call it small-batch headhunting.
